Rockabilly goodness

The fabric I ordered online a couple weeks ago finally made into a frock. A lil cap-sleeve number with swing skirt, and detachable bow...

The fabric was ordered off J & O Fabrics. They have a really awesome range of different prints, and it doesn't work out too expensive either. I am happy to order if you are interested in having a dress made in any of the fabrics on their website.

Vintage sheets make pretty dresses!

Check out this creation made for Ruth from a vintage E.T bed sheet she had, how cool! (Totally can't take any credit for the idea, was all hers :)

Almost done Ruth! Just needs the finshing details, hopefully done by the end of the day.

I'm also super excited to start on this fabric today...

Ordered it just over a week ago from this awesome site J and O fabrics, and it's here already! Didn't actually work out as expensive as I thought it might, works out to about $110 for a full skirted dress. If any of you are looking for something a little more individual, I totally suggest checking out this site. Flick me through your ideas, I don't mind ordering the fabric in for you if there's something that takes your fancy!

Halter tops anyone?

I decided it was time to clean up my sewing room, and found I have quite a lot of remnants (and a wee bit of time on my hands)
So I was thinking I would make up some tops much like this one here. Here's the fabrics I have to choose from...

A rosey little number for Emma

You may remember this style from week 1 of the dress project. Always a winner, and super easy to wear.

As usual, I love this fabric. Will look super awesome with a little petticoat underneath too for some extra "poof"
